The best up-and-coming mixed martial artists from around the world convene in pursuit of one goal: to be named The Ultimate Fighter and to be given a contract in the UFC. For the eighth season, UFC Heavyweight Champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and top heavyweight contender Frank Mir will train and coach fighters in the lightweight and light heavyweight divisions. The Ultimate Fighter: Team Nogueira vs Team Mir is hosted by Dana White, UFC President.

Nogueira picked the right man for the job. Tonight was a great fight. I am, in no way, disrespecting his fighter's talent and ground ability, but I also believe that Nogueira's approach to his team inspires a better spirit among his fighters. You take good men and a caring / close coach and magic sh__ happens.

Junie Browning is a total asshole... There are alot of GOOD fighters that would die to be in his shoes.... Alot of fighters that are out for the sport.. Not to act like a total ass on national tv.... Dana should kick his ass out off of the show.......

Well, after viewing Junie's attitude after his second chance, I can honestly say I have little reason to continue watching this season. To see the sport come so far... with honorable men the likes of Randy Coture ... bringing MMA to a higher level.
Now I feel like I'm watching an episode of "Bum Fights".... give 2 homeless guys a free bottle of whiskey... and film them punching each other out.
I realize that this entire season is already taped... so it's not as if our input would change anything... but it's sad to see how low Dana White will stoop to get TV ratings. The entire Junie incident should have been edited out... and brought in one of the replacements to fill his spot.
This 3rd episode has left a very bad taste in my mouth. The entire feel of the show is much darker...and brooding. I can't believe Dana broke his own rule about no fighting in the house. Junie kicked and punched a few guys....and was threatening to drown another guy. And use a broken bottle. I'm trying to tell my friends what an awesome sport this is... that these guys are true athletes... that they train day and night to become the best possible person they can...and then you go and show this episode.
Honestly... I don't know how this season will end...but so far things don't look very promising.

Remember how Mike Tyson¿s life transpired. Junie has the same mentality!
When you choose the behavior, you choose the consequences!
Junie has the mentality of a young child who chooses to have no control of his self, most likely due to self pity.
I believe we all have our own story and issues to deal with. But to throw it away when opportunity knocks, wow!
Consequently Junie has gotten a lot of mileage out of being a bully due to his physical abilities.
Junie will only stop the behavior when the pain is more than the gain. If you¿re stupid, life will allow you plenty of pain to learn from.
No doubt in my mind his mental and emotional issues will someday get him seriously hurt or killed by someone who is armed and will not put up with that adolescent behavior.
Or, he will spend a lot of time in jail. I would bet one of the two or both will happen to him! It is very obvious that Junie¿s conduct was not his first rodeo ride, and with behavior that is that extreme, a second chance should not have been considered. It¿s called enabling.
I also believe Dana White has let the rest of the fighters down who do maintain integrity and self control.
By rewarding poor behavior, you are making a big mistake. This act carries a very loud and conflicting message about poor conduct while at UFC, and the associated rewards that come with it.
Although I do feel Dana White does a fine job at what he does usually. But this time I feel Dana White is sending the wrong message to the public and his fighters about the quality of people who are fighters. First he builds the sport up, and now he is letting it fall down!

Look, fighters are fighters and some of the less mature fighters will have incidents of bad behavior. Junie has a fighters spirit and Dana has seen alot more fighters the any of you to know the difference between a fighter who can be worked with and a fighter that cant. So why dont you all stick to your job and let Dana do his. Dana White will go down in history as a man who developed the most watched sport of all time. While most of you commenting will continue being faceless uninspired specks in the melting pot of America.
However, if you really want to ask a question, how about this one?
What in the world is Frank Mir doing here. He had an accident and with it lost his ability to be a contender. Facts are harsh but true. He might make a good commentator but Nogueira is going to embarrass him in the first round. Hey Dana it seems you have given Mir enough chances so if he losses badly to Nogueira will you please make him your driver or like staff security and get him off the screen.

I agree. Junie is an ass and he should be kicked off the show. I give it to Dana, he is a better man than I for allowing Junie to stay on after he showed his ass the first time. But I really respect the other guys in the house, because there is no way that I wouldn't have stomped Junie's ass if I had been them. I am not going to stop watching the show if Junie stays. But I would say this is the best season if somebody would beat the shit out of Junie.

Why is this douchebag still in the house? He better deliver when he gets in the ring. But even if he wins his fight, he'll still be a douchebag.

I am to the point were I want to turn this crap off. There are plenty of great fighters who are respectful to the sport. Junie shows complete disregard for everyone and makes them all look foolish. He is a loser who like to bully others. I personally think it's an act to get camera time. And what I hate is Dana is falling right into his trap. Dana I know it's too late to do anything, because it is taped, but you are losing fans because of this idiot. Most people that I talk to about this show are turning it off and going to other stations. UFC I thought was above this, now I realize, it's about the money and the shock value.
